Pretending to know the way
Yesterday I went shopping in cardiff for the day with my sister Jenny. After hours of shopping we proceeded to walk back to the train station. Whilst we were walking I realised that we had took a wrong turn and were now going a way to the train station that I have never been before. I then tried to suggest that we should go back and go the way that we normally gdo but Jenny said "I've been to Cardiff loads of times, I know where we're going". Even though I knew she didn't have a clue I couldn't be bothered to argue with her. After a while of misdirectional walking she finally gave in and asked for directions. We carried on walking,in the right direction this time, and every 5 seconds untill we could see the train station clearly she would say " I know where we are now". What I don't understand is why people don't just admit that they dont know where they are going instead of pretending they do.
